Trying to add a printer on Xp and get an error saying "Could not complete operation, Spool service not running",
there was a virus on the pc a while ago witch knocked it out apparently and its not worked since.

Any Ideas???

starte menu>run
type in services.msc

then look for "print spooler" in the right hand window

Right click and select properties

in the middle box change labled "Startup Type" from "disabled" to "Automatic"

The press the "Start" options, and then click "OK"

printer spool aint running in services.

copy it off another PC into the directory. I would give it you, but im on XP64 so it wont work on your version of XP.
