a couple of my associates are running a new little project involving a nice little Onyx machine.  If anyone can think of something audio-visual or the like that it could be used for then they may be interested in helping out.  TO be added later are an Onyx2 and a couple of Origion2000 boxes.  Im really only posting because im nerdy enough to think that having some proper Big Iron sat around in your office is quite nifty...

Lol if only I could Id take a picture where I work :) You know something is good when you walk into the server hall and see CRAY in that ever so cool font on the front of a cluster of computers

Big Iron is always impressive :) Quite what you can do with it I have no idea. Could do some rendering or something :D lol use it for folding@home :D

I could use the spare cycles for churning through a ton of movies and turning them from 24fps films to 60fps films.  But I dont think Id be allowed to run the algorithms outside of our grid.  Works out at about 14400 hours on a single 3GHz core each week which slows down my research no end even with hundreds of cores working on it :(
