How do these 'game reviewers' get jobs?

This came up on one of my RSS feeds, how do people get paid to write this utter crap

it swears needlessly for a professional site and reads like it was written by a 16 year old action boy, oddly enough a womans responsible for this!

My magnet gun, which snaps stuff together like metal snapping to a magnet is the daddy of all my outrageous weaponry.

Thanks, I was struggling with the basic concept of a magnet.

And just for sh\t and giggles, snap a building to baddie. Splat. Also grab a Ravager with your magnet gun and destroy it with your impulse blast for some up close splat action.

Not only is this a sentence of garbage, I think she mean 'sh\ts'

Heh me and a mate were talking about these things eariler. Our main gripe was the guys they get to showoff the in game stuff at places like E3... Why do they always choose people who can't f**king play games?!

Worst one I ever saw was someone showcasing Resident Evil 4 and both of us were watching the video shouting "SHOT SHOOTING THEIR FEET! THE FACE THE FACE!"
