Im trying to find the simplest piece of software - preferably free as well - to show to one of our clients so that he can take video marketing material from dvds he is sent and copy the video to a friendly, common codec format that can then be put directly onto a website as embedded video, or up to Youtube.

Most of the software Ive tried for copying video from dvds has been complicated, Im after something hell easily be able to use like a wizard interface for instance, click, next, click, next, save, done.

All suggestions gratefully received!

I used Dr DivX ages ago which had a really simple interface. Open source to.

Might be worth a look.

That looks spot on bear, somehow I had an idea you would be the one to come up with a great suggestion :)

DrDivX looks okay, but only does to divx it seems, and looks still more complicated.

They say one-click but usually on most of them some tinkering to improve quality is in place.
