Got one, they are pretty good but do have limits.

what a wacom graphics tablet? limits? lol

for 3d, photoshop and other stuff which relies on point to point accuracy (say drawing a curve) they are fantastic.

obviously you cant use them for gaming.

I saw a laptop which lid had that on one side and monitor on the other and it was turnable, laptop also had cam and wifi

His is a Acer I think, he does a lot of graphics work and it works very well once you have the hang of it and a steady hand

There was a version of missile defence that was brilliant using the tablet though, so not a complete disaster even there

At work we use a lot of interactive whiteboads, and we got a demo of an activepanel, its sort of a TFT & graphics tablet in one, worked quite well just cost rather a lot, around Ã,£1500.  But being able to see what your drawing under your pen rather than having to look at your monitor might be rather good for some.
