I went out lastnight to fix someones pc for them, had to do a reinstall, it was full of virus/spyware.

The only problem is they dont have the original driver disc for the motherboard, it has onboard sound,
xp managed to pick everything up just fine, and it seems only the sound drivers are missing.

I went to intel and downloaded the utility that works out which motherboard it is, i used version 2.91 and
it came up with Intel 845G/GE/etc/etc, so now i just need to find the sound card drivers, im guessing its some
basic onboard sound of some kind, can anyone point me in the right direction here.

ill hazard a guess and try
