I'm not a massive Tom Cruise fan by any stretch so went in to see this expecting a run-of-the-mill action flick, but it's more of a thriller and very well constructed given that the plot is lifted from a book, well worth a watch. Nice to see Rosamund Pike on screen again looking bouncy too

I know the books and it annoys me that he is playing that role though.

Considering Jack Reacher is supposed to be a big dude who can lift up a  7 ft (2.1 m), 400 lb (180 kg) and drop him on his head for example.

I'll be checking this out this weekend, I was expecting to watch it last night but my wife stamped her feet until I agreed to watch Pitch Perfect (which was ok to be fair).
