It sounds pretty good to me, very 80s/Bowie influenced. I hope the rest of the album has a similar trend and is more upbeat and uptempo.

Im a huge Keane fan and my first thought was wtf.

Its different for sure. I dont see the Bowie thing. Talking Heads I think.

Tom was on Radio 1 and mentioned a lot of 80s influences including Talking Heads, so youre right there. They are apparently extremely pleased with the album and this is likely to be one of the tracks that goes most off their beaten path, the rest of the album should be more Keane sounding, although theyve used a lot more instruments and guitar this time round instead of keeping it all piano driven. I expect goodness
