We have a thread for nearly all the other main series out there at the mo!

So, "volume" 4 has ended. What did you all think.

For the last 4 volumes Ive stuck up for heroes, when people have said about dropping ratings and it getting confusing etc...finding it interesting and ever so slightly less convoluted than lost.

However with the ending, I think its the first time Ive ever really been disappointed with a seasons ending. BSG was bitter sweet, but not disappointing. This was just rubbish.

What I am getting at (spoiler ahead) is the whole nathan getting killed thing. Twice now dead people have been brought back to life (nathan included) by the cheerleaders blood. No reason why it couldnt have worked again, instead they do the one thing which would prevent this from happening, burning his body, and setting themselves up for an almighty let down when "nathlar" wakes up as sylar.

Shame, it was a bad enough ending to make me consider stopping watching it now :(

First series was great but I think it has gone downhill since.
The story is a mess! I wish they would settle on a storyline to use as a main thread and weave subplots around that, rather than the converted storyline we have had so far ...jumping all over the place.

Talking about Nathan WTF is the story with his hair?

Serious

Obviously an infusion of Claire would have sorted her dad out.

Liked the first two seasons, third season dropped off slightly, forth season hmm. There are more contradictions than you can shake a salt cellar at.

Why have their powers changed suddenly? Really Sylar should have gone, his involvement is becoming repetitive. Nathan carrying him up a kilometre or two and dropping would have been a nice splatty ending. It also seems they are running out of script ideas.

White Giant

Indeed, they should settle on a story, and work from there.

Alien8

they are probably trying to avoid over using the blood of the girl, as it rules out the severity of death but they could have made out it would not work due to close DNA or something, seems a bit of a plot hole.

No wai! only really interesting charter in the show, but bad>good>bad is annoying :disappointed:

Yeah, but the fact is, the blood has been used to bring back BOTH her dads so far.

Horn Rimmed Glasses guy = shot in the eye/head. They use her blood and hey presto, he comes back.
Nathan = Shot several times by Future Peter, brought back by Claires blood.

It would certainly be interesting for them to come up with some theory as to the eclipses etc. With that immortal guy from the japanese era, it rules out the start being company/govt conspiracies into making super soldiers. However I doubt theyll ever say "these people got their powers because..." :(

Serious

The immortal guy from Japan died when his powers were nicked.

I didnt say he didnt, just that his being around 300 years ago rules out modern day genetic manipulation...unless they used time travel to place him back there...
