Just been to my local gamestation, and got a HDDVD drive for my 360, with Troy thrown in for £35.
Wheres the best place to be picking up some cheap HDDVDs?
£35?! Bargin! I know its a dead format but cant complain for that price :)

Also even tho HD-DVD has gone its worth having one of these becuase 1) Its alot quiter than the normal 360 drive when playing DVDs and 2) it upscales your normal DVDs.
I ran a test for that, my TV says 576/50hz whether played through my HDDVD or my xbox. Always has. Still think you need HDMI/VGA for upscaling.
Hmmm remember something like that, I run on VGA so should be ok.
Im yet to find anywhere clearing out their HD-DVD software on the cheap :(
All the hardware is down in price but atm the discs are holding :/
Anybody know why the 360s HD-DVD drive has nearly 200mb of flash storage?
Buffering? Flashing Firmware? Future proofing (lol)? Storing bookmarks? Windows Drivers? Cant think of anything else.
I wouldnt buy one if they was only a tenner

The Toshiba hd-dvd players are supposed to be some of the best upscaling dvd players available at the minute.
