so a power surge (I guess) killed my NasLite network box....
and instead of fixing it, (because ive run out of old crap to build systems with!) I thought Id just buy a nas box instead....
but 100mbit lan nas doesnt do it for me anymore.... so i searched around for a gigabyte one....
transfer speeds with my old pos system running 100mbit lan and NasLite.... ~10.5Mb/sec....
transfer speeds with the brand new maxtor gigabyte lan nas thing.... ~13Mb/sec
well that sucks :(
(I think Ill send it back!)
