I was strolling through Brent Cross shopping centre on Saturday to pick up a birthday presents and idly walked into a game shop (I think it actually was a "GAME" as well) as I was going around. Now Im pretty sure I saw a couple of Xbox360 bundle packs on the shelf that said Ã,£299 consisting off....
Xbox 360 Premium
Extra Wireless Controller
2 Games (one being PGR3, dont remember the other)
Now this hit me as a good deal, and didnt think much more of it and went on my merry way... after telling a mate he cant find it online and neither can I... but Im sure I saw it.
A) Am I going mad / seeing things, or has anyone seen it as well.
B) Whats the best bundle you lot have seen, as Im going to get a 360 with my first pay cheque to gear up for war 8)
Places like Game often have in shop offers that are not replicated on the web, try finding a Nintendo DS with either one extra full price game or 2 two for Ã,£30 games on top of the normal pack for Ã,£109.95 on a website.
Its on at the metrocentre but I cant find it on their website so Im not supprised.
Sure it wasnt an HMV? Think I saw that same bundle but for Ã,£399 in there the other day.
Nearest I can find to it is this
http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/GENBRW/3-/1626983/XBox_360_Premium_Console_Bundle_+_PGR_3_+_Free_Extra_Wireless_Controller/Product.html
Xbox 360 Premium + PGR3 + extra wireless controller for Ã,£289 which isnt a bad deal. Since some games can be had for Ã,£18 on play.com it only makes it Ã,£307 instead of Ã,£399 like fc9k says is at hmv.
May be a store doing a dodgy bundle, we used to do it alot :)
If you cant find it in another Game but its in that one take it! :P
My fiancee has seen this deal too in Shrewsbury Gamestation. Good to know theyre carrying on our tradition of dodgy bundles lol!!
Ã,£309 on the gamestation website. not sure that its a premium rather than a core though...

Appears to be Premium (when you add to basket it shows up as Ã,£279 just for the console). The extra Ã,£10 to be able to choose any game is great :) Works with Gears of War as well! (Even tho its not out yet....)
Might go for Pro Evo 6 as the second game, then get Gears of War when it comes out. :)
ToysRUs have 3 games & Premium for Ã,£299, just try and find stock.
Starting today Argos is doing....
360 Premium
Any 360 Game
Mega Pack (inc remote, stand, faceplate, steering wheel, wired controller (all third party)
Ã,£279.
I lost all faith in 3rd party stuff back with the Snes
Xbox pads did it for me - they were horrible. Madcastz, 4gamer not one decent pad between them!
I didnt like *any* of the xbox pads but at least part of it might have been due to the M$ programing
OK pay day today so its time to decide which offer to go for.... I was leaning towards the GameStation Ã,£309 offer (Premium, PG3, any game, wireless controller), but after reading on the DVDForums I came across the HMV offer.
360 Premium, extra wireless controller, PGR3, Rockstars Table Tennis (funnily enough went for a meeting next to their new place off Kings Road - what an amazing office) for Ã,£299... but the guy on the thread mentioned around Ã,£275 with the HMV card..
Had a look on the HMV site...
http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/navigate.do?pPageID=1079
10% off on first purchase.
So you need to sign up to their (credit!) card. Now Im not a fan of that, but I can sign up and not use it (Well besides the first purchase). So...
Xbox Bundle - Ã,£299.99 (http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=-1;6;40;-1&sku=570323)
ProEvo 6 - Ã,£34.99 (http://www.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;-1;-1;-1&sku=530857&locale=uk)
Sub Total - Ã,£334.98
-10% First Purchase - Ã,£33.49
Total - Ã,£301.49
For 360, extra controller and three top games.
.... yes Im still hesitating, I hate this credit card crap!
There is also a 15% off voucher flying around for HMV at the moment.
Do it!
