how do!

basically my mate broke the screen on his MDA compact III, he got a new screen but couldnt be bothered to fit it, so i ended up with it and id really like to get it working cos its a handy little phone!!

anyway, found a a guide and set about repairing the screen, took it apart and replaced it, put it back together and ..........

well, theres power going to the screen because the it lights up but theres no pictures or anything coming up!

the phone still works cos the buttons are lighting up and its making noises and i can find it when i search for bluetooth devices

so, any ideas? or any ideas how much itll cost to repair?

cheers

I replaced the screen on one of my nokia 73s

There was 2 connectors.. i imagine 1 is for power & the other for an input signal.
Id make sure its seated correctly & the ribbons havent popped out

yeah, this is what worries me, see theres two cables, only one has something to do with the screen and if thats damaged then........its no go

ah well, spose ill drop it in a shop or something and see what they say!
