So, I bit the bullet 2 days ago, sorted out a games for windows live account thingy, loaded some M$ points and bought the DLC, having found out that if you bought Fallout 3 in Steam it should still work ok?

The problem is ever since, I cant log into games for windows live. Its hating my connection. Yesterday it was saying connection refused, and this was with all sorts of port forwards and even no firewalls at one point. Bearing in mind it worked fine before I downloaded the content etc.

Today its reporting Error:400 Bad Request.

Is it just bad timing with GFWL going down when I decided to get the DLC, or is something else the matter. Can someone verify it is/isnt my comp?

The Games for windows Live/Xbox Live servers were down for maintenance yesterday as MS were getting them prepared for the features coming later in the year.

Yeah, seems to be working now.

Bit lame that they give you links to check the server status and when you visit them they report theyre fine, when theyre down for maintenance though :|

Point Lookout is out now. Havent had a chance to play it yet, but theres lots of good reviews.

Damnit, cant wait to rebuild and install win7 and have a hopefully crash-free fallout 3 install!
