I'm trying to find a cheap pre-built cable which goes from an Apple 30-pin connector to a micro-usb and photo connector.

It's quite easy to make (see here) but I'm sure somewhere must be selling this?

Deal extreme come close with this and this but not something that combines the two.

My plan is to fit a RPi (micro usb power and phono audio) onto an iPod dock. Then control an XBMC instance running on it turning my ipod dock into a powerful networked audio player.

Anyone know where I might find such an item?

Yep! That would do as I could use an adapter to convert to micro-usb, dont seem to be able to order form that site though.

Just me or can you not buy a female to female apple 30 pin adapter?

I need one to go between the ipod dock and the above apple car cables. My plan might be in pieces!
