Wow, that is really hard on the eyes.  It does looks slightly biased towards the 360... I cant quite put my finger on why.

Yeh. I cant find a theme for the site which would work towards my site. Looking for one at the minute.

Batch if your going to do a site, think what it is like you have, if you have no idea how it will look think about the logo first, you got your name, think about what things out there are associated with the name and then think about colours and that helps you lead to your site design

I dont think its that bad. Get rid of the distracting background and sort the banner out and I reckon itd look pretty sweet.

Actually its not just that, i remember the old batch site and the amount of times it was linked, it was a bad site, dodgy design and at one point had some dodgy music in the background, the only reason for it seemed the forums, but what was the point of posting about your forum on another forum, thats not how you get members.

First you setup a decent looking, minimalistic or clean site, then add the content and in time, once the site becomes recognised and your generating your own traffic (because of content), then you will get members on the forums, its not an easy task (first hand experience) but it happens.

But as is at the moment, its just a carbon copy of the old dodgy site with no content this time around.

when I saw I thought of a Henry VII/Palace of Westminster portcullis type logo, saw you dont have a logo so knocked this up

Nexus, I like your logo more. Can you PM me the actual logo without all the writing across it? It would suit my new theme I now have used.

Sorry about the prev. one tho - looked a bit tacky and also bright on my eyes too. Just was trying that out to see how itll go. I didnt like it. Hope you like the new theme used now. Less bright on the eyes.

I sent batch some advice on how to do things and what his options are as part of it was showing some links etc and did logo in black as well so just thought to bung the picture on here as well

Well Why I had to do it, the name Something popped in my head, I had already made this for a friend:



of was there, the way to do ministry was in my head straight the way, longest time was finding the way the word gamers fit which took 10 minutes
So had to actually do it cus I hoped it would look cool

There is a template design competition I am going to enter to win some cash, so decided to pick the game site concept since I had the logo
Sadly not go no work on at the moment :? and in between move stuff need something to keep me occupied anyway

need to do some fine tuning to it but as I mentioned I found a wordpress based site design competition to win some cash which I defiantly could do with so I have done this design web 2.0 ish in style as per one of the requirements using the gaming site concept and the logo I came up with the other day.

Meh least it got online, most my sites i spend ages making them offline, go to upload them and then decide i dont like the whole style/idea and then delete it and start again... rinse and repeat :P
