What proggy for re-encoding tracks to vbr?

I got an exercise in fitting as many songs as I can onto a cd, but all my stuff is 256kbs.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Shakey

I used to use DBPowerAMP, but I think its not free anymore.

My choice now would be BeSweet+BeSweetGUI, but it can be slightly fiddly to use if youve never tried before.

Or use winamps file writer plugin to make wavs, then encode with CDex or similar.

Ta, I just tried that one and it didnt do too well so I had a look and found this - dl it and then dl all the extras for it and itll do vbr pretty well. Only prob is its outputting to a single seperate folder but it doesnt seem to be copying the original folder structure across.

/I need a faster cpu - 320 tracks @ around 2mins to convert each one = :(

edit:

Anyone good at maths:

If 38mb goes down to 30mb

then 2.66gb = 2.09gb?
