Hi guys and gals....

While Ive been away Ive been practicing my guitar playing and have started to write some songs.  Some of which I have recorded on my phone(All thats available at the moment until my PC comes.)

Heres one I did today.  I was washing the pots and off the top of my head I sang the first two lines.  Then, sang a little more, thought it was ok so wrote it in my book, grabbed my guitar and started recording.  What youll hear is literally my one and only practice/take/recording of the song, so its quite experimental as all the guitaring was improvised as I went along.  But I think it sounds ok, infact pretty good seeing as it took less than 30 minutes from having nothing to having this recording.

So what you all think? Please all be completely honest

Not getting much feedback

The intro starts off a bit slow IMO, I kept on expecting it to turn into watch with mother TBH :whoops: During the vocals the phone isnt anywhere near up to the point of giving a reasonable rendition unfortunately.

I couldnt comment on a phone recording tbh.

Right, recorded on my PC now.  Had to do guitar first then do singing and put together.  Dont think its got the same energy as the first recording, probably because I used my acoustic then and I was in a bad mood when I sung it the first time, LOL.  But it sounds a whole lot better!!!

Well im leanring the Guitar atm and can honestly say your miles ahead of me on it. The start and end were a bit too long for me but that might be personal preference. Instrument also seems alot louder than the vocals but that might be dodgy recording.
Pretty impressed overall - well done. Hope i get that good.
