I saw one where they proved dropping a penny off the empire state wont kill someone. That was great! The guy modded a nail gun to shoot pennies. Then after discovering it hardly does any damage, the guy shot his hand with it :D Not seen any other episodes though..
I should go as Adam Savage for Halloween. :lol: I look like him minus the "stache" and the paleness. Same shoes. :lol:

There was one where they tried to prove the urban myth that someone died in a car and no matter what they did to clean it the smell was still so bad it was unsellable. Got an american two seater and sealed in a pair of pig corpses then put it in a container, three months later one nearly does himself with the amonia gas when they start taking the car out. They were claiming that it was the worst smell they had ever experienced while a crimescene cleanup expert was saying the smell was only average.
They didnt even manage to get rid of the smell and when they sold it the buyer said they only wanted the drivetrain.
I was gonna post about this last week. Since deciding not to I have been wondering if Ive been caught by geekdom, or if there is actually a contageous infection being distributed by this program ala new style Top Gear.
Mythbusters has certainly plowed into one of my favourite TV shows and during my week off last week, i sat through the entire series 1, 2 and 3... the new episode that went out in the states on wednesday is next in line for my viewing pleasure (tonight probably) and thatll bring me bang upto date, leaving only the new episode of Nip/Tuck for me to endeavour!

They also were wondering, if people actually believed throwing a penny off of the building would kill someone, WHY THE HELL on the next floor down were there a sh*tload of pennies on the roof! :D lol! A bunch of closet murderers in new york.
I watched it on Saturday where they were given a selection of items to design something that would prevent an egg from cracking when it was dropped from a roof of the building. I thought it was quite genius some of the ideas they came up with.
I watch it everyday, I put Discovery on in the morning and leave it,

That one was genious. His first attempt that just used a rope and lowered the egg gently to the ground while the other one spent ages making a cushioned rocket with hammocks and intricate suspecnsion made me lol.
