Just today chrome has started to behave differently from normal.

In the past when I've searched by typing in the address bar, the search results would be the standard google search results page. Now I'm getting the below:



I'm not sure why its changed, figure Chrome has updated itself. Google is still set as the default search provider.

Any suggestions? Is it just an update and this is how it's going to be in the future? It looks horrible, much like the new gmail layout.
