Traditional subs dont care what amp youre using, they just go inline the speaker cable, slurp off the frequencies theyre assigned via a knob adjustable crossover, then send the rest on to the sattellites. I find that bookshelf speakers with 4" to 6" large drivers + a sub give the most natural sound if you dont have room for traditional loudspeakers.
