would make things much easier for work !

or any easy way to do it ?
Sipura 3000 ata has auto failover to landline if the VOIP side of things fails, or power dies.

I was after one that will make the calls via the lan line, and receve calls via the normal line ?

guess I could just use 2 phones :)

tho then again... isnt there problems asociated with using a fax machine on a line that your running a DSL connection over ?

I believe the sipura will do that.

and no no problems running a fax. :) Hell my dad still dials up RAS into his workplace over the homes dsl line.

just realised... I could stick with the standerd phone for incomming calls, and use the phone on the fax machine for the incomming calls ;)

Ill sort out a BB line at work then order one :)

so whos the best VOIP provider for a line that Ill only iuse for outgoing calls ?

Mark

why only for outgoing calls though? you can get the number ported - DDIS from bt cost about 3 quid a month

hmmm....

thing is for work I need it to be perfect for the incomming calls.... if i have any problems with the outgoing i can always unplug it :)

tbh what I save on calls could be lost again by losing just 1 good customer

maybe i could add it for the incomming calls at a later date :(

If you get a proper voip system there wont be any issues with it.

We have no analogue lines whatsoever coming into the business - all are ISDN 30s straight from the BT datacentre and from NTLs datacentre.

Our uptime for last year on voice was 100%
