Well they had to re-do it anyway, the one before was fine but had the screen and compression issues, so while you address those problems you may as well do some new stuff as well.

Rumor is though in November we will hear finally of the widescreen touch screen ipod. We know it exists becuase the patent documents are very detailed, it will be horizontal and like the fake ones shown, that may be cool.

A patent doesnt mean it nessicaraly exists, it just stops anyone else from developing such an product/interface.

I like the green. :)

its very detailed, If I could be bothered which I cant I could find it again and post the link, its not only a concept patent but the tech to go with it also.

Advert is nice, shame you could not actualy use it like a glow stick, that would  be cool.

It has the gapless playback some other new little tech bits and search and all that software wise, Hardware wise its thinner, twice the storage and fancy colours. Basically its a better casing, stronger and all that as the first version kept cracking and bending in peopes jeans.

Thats hardly a shocker considering it was the minis direct replacement.

My 8Gig Nano looks just like a Mini-mini. So far so good it does everything it says on the tin...and I like the metal case instead of the 2 tone old nano. The wheel seems a little odd though but that might just be the case Ive got it in.

It does force you to go to Tunes 7 though..:(
