Took a Dell apart the other day, not sure what CPU it had but it had a huge heatsink - was the whole width of the (fairly large) tower.
had 6 heat pipes inside it.. and a big 120mm fan slapped on the side, with 2 holes in the front of the case do suck air straight through.
crazy thing :D whens it all going to end, Intel now use all the height above a processor.. they can only go out sideways now :lol: (or go liquid, for a few years..then chilled liquid & sealed stuff & then fridges)

You can see one of the holes, in the side of the case near the front. - one on the other side too, practically put your arm through the case :)
