Today Nokia have announced that they have partnered with Microsoft and are making Windows Phone 7 their primary smartphone OS. Should help Microsoft get their OS out a bit more.

To be honest they should be happy, their stock would be non existent if they kept going the same way!

Hope they now don't go down the route of too much power = 1 day battery

You need a dumbphone for battery life.

I was using some generic POS Nokia the over new year for support, and it lasted a good two weeks on one charge.
Phone did f**k-all though.

Have to say I don't really care about battery life. Chucking my phone on charge is just a nightly ritual - and I'm never away from either my car, a pc, or a plug socket long enough for it to die.
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

Ye battery life is ok like that unless you spend the weekend at your girlfriends, and break down on the M5 with a break calliper that hasn't quite released properly causing your break disk to glow red hot, allowing an phone call to last all of 10 seconds (which just happens to be long enough to ring said girl friend and say, "I'm 15mins down the M5 broken down, pick me up")

Needless to say I was pissed off last night!
