Games not out here until 30th of next month, but I have been tempted to buy it on import from the US.

first impressions, its a bit easy.  Im on world 2 and it took very little skill to get there.  the graphics are superb.  the shadows on marios body when running through the castle are something I wasnt expecting.  the sounds are crisp and remind me of the original 3 mario games.  this one is like they have taken all the best bits from the previous mario games and created an amazing side scrolling platformer.  the megamario mushroom kicks ass!

my game is an import. playtime multimedia near me always gets imports in and charge about a fiver more than a uk game.

As good as the game is, its just too easy.  Ive put less than 2 hours of play on it and already on World4.  Also theres not enough save points.

However, its nice to hear mario say "Bye Bye" when you shut the lid.

Just wait for the Yoshi Island sequel that is coming to the DS.  A proper sequel, not some touch and go game.

Really looking forward to that, the original SNES Yoshis Island was awesome and a fantastic send-off to a fantastic console.
It's all fun and games until a 200' robot dinosaur shows up and trashes Neo-Tokyo… Again.
