I loved the first crank movie for what it was, fast passed and fun with Jason Statham falling a LONG way and going more or less splat on the ground and his heart seemingly stopping but Straight the way the fan chat was that with all the crap pumped into him could he really die?

Saw Persepolis over the weekend, great story & animation. Refreshing to see something that isnt rendered in 3D.

Looks great, but what the hell is going on what that CGI? It looks atrocious, especially compared to the first film (I havent seen the second and hopefully will never have to, it sounds like a bit of a stinker from what I can gather).

Edit : Straight to DVD from a writer turned director, nuff said. Best avoid this one as well I think.

Any one looking to go to the cinema this week I do thoroughly reccomend either Son Of Rambo or In Bruge.   Both are top notch films.

With Son Of Rambo I had to ask and make sure what my mate thought it was before we went to see it.
