Unless people are really sad we arent going to know what the hell each is by that model number.

Hes right, ont he face of it Id say the Samsung but it depends which panel it is tbh.

Do a search on DVD Forums/AV Forums for those panels, see what comes up and whats recommended.

I saved £150 by getting an ex-display Samsung, really happy with it. You might want to shop around and see if you can grab a bargain imo.

/tbh just pick one. its not difficult. Actually go for the 47" every single time. If he gets a 40" now hell be wishing hed got the bigger one.

At that size, you want Plasma not LCD.
