Not installing on any machine for at least 3 weeks here.
I h8 rolling out SPs blind, so 3 weeks is usually long enough for everyone to have ranted about the bugs and problems so that I know what to expect :)

My testing team are analysing it before I use it on my baby.

yeah, youll SEE all 4Gb that you have, you still wont be able to use it by the sound of things.  Plus, let other people try it 1st.  If its not changed since the last release client the network copy speed wont have improved any.

youve got Cista clients before an SP has been released? Ill bet your users love you!!!

Seriously though, how have they found it? Is it as bad as everyone says?

In general theyve been quite happy tbh.

There was the initial "wheres this gone" and "how do I do this thing that was soo easy in XP" but now they seem happy.

We only opted for Vista as new hardware came with Vista licenses. Seeing that XP support is going to end, it didnt make a lot of sense to waste money buying XP licenses and then having to upgrade to Vista later anyway.

...Im still on XP SP2 and I will probably remain on XP until the Vista replacement ;)
