Since they are finally just working on the maps a version should be out soon.

Long time in the making battlefield 2 mod - forgotten hope 2? has been something I have had my eye on for a long while and the original was one of the most played and loved addons for the original battlefield game.

forgotten hope brought a very different multiplayer to battlefield and had amazing maps and the d-day landing ones must have been the most played around online - great mod it was.

Been a while but I think the attention to detail to this mod will really pay off.

Indeed, its been to long in the making but I think it will be the battlefield 1942 of battlefield 2.

The key is the control of the weapons and tanks etc. The planes in forgotten hope were terrible but the original game engine was poor on that front but 2 has better controls.

It was the weapons for me in this mod the artillary was dam fun to play the sniper rifles while you needed skill were accurate and fun to use and alliance weapons felt really good while the natzi tanks were the dogs.

Would be worth getting on release becuase It will give your battlefield 2 a new lease of life.
