Being a mega Aliens fan, I was sceptical about this as I hated AVP. Hated it.

Looks like another woman lead character in a avp movie... and the sound in the park/forest sounds just like the south american rain forest in first predator... i think they are trying to capture that feeling from the first.... weak....

Why on earth? done it already i would like to have seen the predators going to the aliens home world!

Last week I almost accepted a job from the comapny who made Aliens versus predator. Theyre actually fairly kick ass people :)

This could go to either extreme, the shortcomings I can see are:
* Strong female lead - its done to death, not big & not clever
* Aliens made into pussy ants again
* Humans getting one-ups on both very easily
* No Arnie/recent good action hero equivalent
* No Blaine

At least its going to be an R /18 by the looks of it, so I will hold back on judging just yet, I hope its better than AVP, which was poo frankly.

Just watched this after rewatching AVP on E4:HD last night, not bad I guess, mindless, just got to see predatorS now :wub:

Yeah, I need to see Predators too. Enjoyed the AvP films, they arent classics but they are a fun bit of fluff action films set in a decent universe.

Ive still yet to watch Requiem even though Ive had it sat around for ages waiting to be watched. I think watching AvP again the other night might spur me to this weekend, Im not expecting much but if its better than the first film it cant be bad.

The only real problem I had with it was its very very dark pretty much all the time, and some of the scenes its difficult to make out whats going on, or who the hell is winning! even in 1080p! :gag:
