Title: OpenSource (free) DVD playback software???

Anyone know of any opensource (that works on XP) DVD playback software. I know PowerDVD is cheap as anything but I need it quicker than a spplier can shup it.

Still need a codec though, MPC wont play DVDs on its own.

Did the last time I installed it for somebody. Or at least I dont remember having to install a codec. :lol: Tested with a Region one disc from the rental place. Worked dandy.

It doesnt, you still need dvd on there to be able to run it

You could try VLC (http://www.videolan.org/).
