Hi,

I have a 2 to 3 year old Inspiron 6400 laptop which originally ran XP which now has Windows 7 and also upgraded the 512MB memory to 2GB as well as a new hard drive.

I was wondering if the Inspiron 6400 can have the processor upgraded from Intel Core Duo 1.66MHz to a better processor that fits into my laptop. I have searched around and found it is a 49 socket processor that Id be looking for. I just want to know if anyone has got an Inspiron 6400 and also upgraded the processor?
