If you dont mind dropping to 20" this sammy is a good deal at the moment.

Colours are really vibrant, like trippy colourful and its really bright. I need to play with the gamma and stuff.

Its big.

Blacks are good, way better than my old one.

Downsides:

The backlight is slightly uneven, I reckon getting the brightness right will minimise that tho.

700mb avis just dont cut it anymore

Getting the right balance can be a pain but lots of tweaking  :mrgreen:
Im still using a Sony 21" CRT but Oblivion does look rather nice @ 1920  1440  

Im playing Oblivion on a 47" 1080p TV monitor and thats impressive  :mrgreen:

I just bought a LG 226WTQ today and I wish Id consulted you guys first before buying. It was only £200 though.

my only problem with that would be :
Signal Input: D-sub

i wont go back to D-Sub as my Monitor connection.
