Title: Pixars "Cars"
Post by: maximusotter on July 22, 2006, 05:07:12 AM
:!: :o

Took in a matinee of this today and was blown away. Its the first CGI graphics film that Ive forgotten it was a puter thing within minutes. Cute enough story, great sight gags, and stupendous animation.

See it!

I saw this last night and I normally hate cartoons but this was superb. Very funny, probably the best non serious film of the year.

I would still rate Toy Story and finding Nemo and Monsters Inc slightly higher though

For me Monsters Inc was classic the baby has you pissing yourself laughing several times.
Thats Why I like Jack Jacks Attack

I was really looking forward to this after the glowing recommendations in this thread, but Ive held off watching it because Ive been lead to believe the worst actor in history/the antichrist/the most irritating person to grace the face of the earth does some of the voice acting?

(Owen Wilson by the way),

it took me 2/3 of the film before i twigged it was him doing the voice. it isnt that noticable.

Thank you. I feel safe to watch it without having to stab my own eardrums out when I hear his intolerable droning irritating nasal drawl.

speaking of voices tho. I am 100% sure that Harv the agent is Jermey Clarksons voice.

but IMPD has it is
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005315/

gotta be a mistake?
