Just monitoring my Aerocool ExtremEngine 3T Black Case with 25cm Side Fan to see how well it does. It has a 2.12Ghz Pentium core 2 duo in it, which normally runs reasonably cool. I hadnt bothered putting the side on, or fastening up the front fan so the temps were in the region of 36 cpu/40 MOBO idling. Not bad, but its now got those fans fastened up and the temps are 24/30?

OK its not overclocked but those temps are definitely cool.

Ive got a similar core 2 duo running unclocked, and using a pretty standard case with an Arctic Cooling fan on Im idling about 39-41 depending on how long the comps been running and how warm the room is, if that helps.

It does, proves this case is really good at keeping the temperatures of components down, the big fan is blowing directly onto the graphics cards and cpus and it has a seperate 14cm one in the front blowing onto the HDs to keep those cool. For those who are overclocking its probably worth looking into buying one of these, or if they are modding one of the Antec Big Boy 200 200mm TriCool Fans and putting it into the side pannel.

My CPU Temp is usually around 40c on idle, and the HDD is around 30C, the only strange thing i dont get is that on SpeedFan it says the internal temp is 133C :? surely that cant be right!

Yeah i think whatever temp is 130C is definately wrong lol il post a pic up later on of what it says on my SpeedFan anyway.
