I'm after a printer/scanner/copier for work, but can you get something where you can put 20 pages in it, then scan them, and the document can go straight on to the PC in a PDF files?

Also do normal printing, photo copying etc.

Approx £500 spend ideally.

Cheers

You just need to make sure you get something with a paper feed tray, so you dump your pages to scan in the tray, hit the Go button and it prints or goes to a network share or email address - make sure it has a proper 'scan-to' facility with a proper address book.

Something like this maybe - http://www.ebuyer.com/320520-60-cash-back-ricoh-sp-c240sf-colour-a4-multifunction-laser-printer-974220

I'm not recommending anything though. All printers are sh*t, there is no such thing as a good printer.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Until last year I would have sworn by Brother or Oki and tell you to avoid HP, now my opinion has swapped, I've seen a lot of J series and MFC of Brother brand fail, mechanically.

HP's recent models have impressed me, very flexible, damn easy to setup.  I thought the ePrint function was a bit gimmicky early on but it works damn well.  I've sold a few 200 and 400 series recently, good kit imo.

Optional 500 sheet tray if needed.
