with that type of speed BT would put a FUP of at least 10Gb per month on it!
Virgin would advertise it as Hyper Blistering Fast unlimited connectivity, as long as you dont mind getting 56k after the 1st 10 Mb of downloads.

What Peter really wanted to demonstrate was that gov. should put their money into fiber, even fiber built for 10 Gb/s will give 40. Scrap the copper and start digging to put fiber into.
