The time has come that i Bacon have purchased a PS3 after having several 360s, /Blame Nige for tempting me.

What id like to know is which PS3 Exclusive games are worth purchasing?

I was looking at exactly this the other day, there are less good exclusives than you would think!

I shortlisted:
Gran Turismo 5
Unchartered 2: Among Thieves
Killzone 2  - 3 is due out next year
Little Big Planet - 2 is due out next year
God of War 3 - maybe
Heavy Rain - maybe
Resistance 2 - maybe

Theres a new Twisted Metal game coming out next year which looks mental (think Carmageddon with guns)

Id also be very tempted to download Wipeout HD from PSN.

Uncharted 2 thankfully is one of the best games you will ever play :wub:

Single player is jaw dropping at times, it made my top 10 of all time for a reason

Thats the thing with GT5 being rushed out. Just not the amount of games out for PS3 there should be even still.
A few of those mentioned above have been pushed back till next havent they? I know little big planet has been delayed.

Being BluRay is a big thing though but while I like a lot of the PS3 we have here the menu just kills it for me. It is an utter gobcrap of a UI, A real pain to use.

Sony evidently are more concerned with rushing security patches out of the door, its pretty much guaranteed that at the minute if you play a game, then wait 2 weeks theres either a game or system update waiting for you, this aside though for your bread and butter actions like loading a game, I dont see how Sonys UI is so bad to be labeled a pain to use.


Oh Bacon Katamari Forever is worth getting if you see it cheap, its just fun, assuming you like the Katamari games.

I didnt realise Sonys UI was bad, I try to avoid all of the fanboi bickering about which console is best. From my own point of view it just works and does exactly what you want it to. Everything you need is in a logical and easy to access place.

I think the XMB is better than the current revision of the Xbox dashboard.
The old blades one was better than all though, imo.

This thread is about PS3 Exclusive Games, i dont give two sh*ts about the dashboard, so lets keep it on topic yeh? If you want to have another PS3 vs 360 argument just make another thread.

LittleBigPlanet is still worth picking up to be honest, I bet you can get it under a tenner easily now.

Ive not played it for a while, but I enjoyed it.

Ive also got it for the PSP.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is exclusive is it not? I would recommend it, especially for the few quid you could buy it for nowadays. Beautiful game, with some truely unique gameplay.

For FPS fun, I would definitely recommend Killzone 2, which is an absolute blast online.

Resistance 2 I have heard is brilliant, but never played it myself.

Gran Turismo is on my christmas list.  

Agreed, Resistance and Killzone are good.
Found MGS boring.
Time Crisis is a laugh, but it can be costly if you cant find a second gun.
