seen 7 other games with the same problem of a looooong load time
Watch the video, about 2 minutes in you can see the load time.
With all the cpu power it has such a lack of memory and good memory control and loading data from the huge blue ray disk data it just does not have enough room to store for processing so its really a waste.
For such a console that is insane loading times
tbh that looks like a game that has been developed with limited access to a PS3. Take the fact that you cannot exit from the game menu, that shouts of the developer not having access to the appropriate APIs during development. Also the bloke mentions that the game suggests it is saved to HDD to improve loading times, another indicator that development was not done against a live build PS3.
The hdd loading thing is nothing new, ffxi on the ps2 required that. It is just a case of the machine not being able to take enough data from the optical drive fast enough.
You cant complain about that really, it is the way pc games work.
I have to say the menu system looks cheap and nasty and not well integrated.
