Rumour has it (and just rumour atm, no fact) that the wii is gunna be as little as Ã,Â£90 for jap import and Ã,Â£130 over here.

also (and this is confirmed) online play for the wii will be completely free, no subscription fees. That coupled with the ability to download nes/snes/n64 games + voip phone! Man, im totally saving my student loan already.

Since the Wii is considered Nextgen yet is as powerful as an Xbox, if MS released the same controller for the Xbox would it suddenly become nextgen? And if they released it for the 360 that would be come next-nextgen?

actually Im quite tempted now - loved the original mario bors NES games & mario kart was one of my favorite games on the snes but I never owned any nintendos (had a mega drive instead) so had to always play at my mates houses - might have to get myself a wii to make up for a deprived childhood of nintendo games

still interested in the PS3 too though

The Wii is next-gen, just because it doesnt share the same processing power as the other two.

Should the original xbox have been in the same class as the GC and the PS2, seeing as it was only 32bit, just like the PSone?
