Well sort of, there are guides telling you how to role it back to older version then your able to put the 3rd party stuff on

You have been able to run homebrew for quite some time now on 2.01 and above, but it requires a copy of GTA.

If you have the game, youll want to head over to Fanjitas website and download the eboot loader: http://www.fanjita.org/psp.html

Youll now be able to run homebrew games.

Can i ask some questions about this, since i have the game.

Does this eloader overright your firmware? Or is it like just bypassing the psp memory and running off the memory stick, where by you then run the homebrew stuff?
If thats the case if you whip out the memory stick or not boot the eloader your psp runs as normal?

Deaths Head

No, it doesnt affect the firmware.  The homebrew is run off your memory stick.

You have to boot into GTA and then load the Loader savegame, the PSP then loads into the loader menu and it will display your homebrew.  You can then run that and if written correctly you should be able to exit the homebrew and come back to the loader menu.  You can exit the loader back to the main PSP menu.

The only problem arises when you want to play GTA normally and it starts auto loading the loader :)  Remove memorystick when you want to play GTA, it will load to start of the game.  Put in your memory stick and you can then load the savegame you wish.
