Dave

someone sent me an e-mail with a reply receipt request just as I was about to leave the office - I denied the request then marked the mail as unread and upon reading it again the request no longer poped up.

Is there any way to get outlook to send the reply receipt tomorrow morning as I dont want it to look like I actually got the mail yesterday.

If you denied it... its denied they wont know.

Except if they checked your inbox and the email headers itll say the date it was recieved there.

Dave

but they wont receive the receipt so theyll know Ive denied it

I want them to receive the receipt but I want it to be sent tomorrow morning when Ill have a chance to reply to the mail - didnt want to stay late at the office today - is there any way for me to generate another receipt in outlook?

twist

Just reply back tomorrow morning and say you just received the email and accidentally denied the receipt.

Could copy and paste the content of a normal read reciept edited to show the right time and send it back.

It is just a normal email afterall.

To answer your question outlook does not facilitate delaying read replies.
