It is not a trilogy series.. watch 3 again, watch the cop in regard to the victim in the room, people noted him putting one of the rings in his jacket in the background and 4 was announced before 3 was finished, number of other small things in the movie if you google you can see on the fan sites, Jeff is locked up and needs to save his daughter, jigsaw may or may not be dead but you do have him in videos and tapes he left at least
Five will follow, again also announced already, there is a definite story arc left to go, jigsaw is in both so will be interesting to know how it works
its very advisable to watch saw 1 first, it leads into 2 very well.
3 is not connected to 1 & 2, apart from Jigsaw, I expect 5 will have his son/daughter in it.
so they will probably make a trilogy out of 3,4 and 5.
Well, 3 is connected to 1/2 in the sense you know where the lass has come from who is doing Jigsaws work etc.

Yes but you can watch 3 without watching 1 & 2, but 2 definitely links to 1 very well. thats what I meant, but again thats my opinion.
Oh yeah you can. But 3 is connected, thats all I meant. As IMO, the lass would be some random lass, but seeing 1 and 2 you then know who she is and what her story is.
I like them all anyway!! :D
It could be a buzz I suppose.
/listens to groans
but it could also be a complete flop. Usually they put so much effort into making the first one or two that its simply a downhill from episode one issue. Three tends to be lacklustre and four a shower.
I couldnt be arsed to watch 3. I thought we got the idea at 2.

not really, you would not know why the women cop was in it and going "you" and not understand that properly, you would not know what she was doing with the guy in the room bagging him over the head to finish him off, or the cop guy from number 2 you would not follow that.
You would not know about jugsaw testing her properly so you would watch 3 with a lot of holes.
You need to watch 1 to follow 2 properly and you need to watch 2 and 1 to follow 3.
tbh i thought 3 was better than the first two.
these are teh worst written comedies ive ever seen. i only laughed a couple of times.
