gimme some hot new bands to listen to...

sick of having the same radiohead, rage, muse, system of a down rotation. never seem to hear about good new music anymore. what can i find worth my ears on spotify?

I can't really recommend music to you, as from the sound of things you like your music a bit heavier than I do, but I can point out there is a new radiohead album out tomorrow! 



Also, if you want a different sort of music genre, listen to Mr Scruff's trouser jazz. I love that album - it is different.

Oh.. And listen to Bowie's 'Earthling' album.. 'Tis awesome.

iused to say that i'd never listen to music from much before i was born cos there was plenty of good current music to listen to. lately im wondering if i have to change that opinion.

Just look at the related artists section of Spotify.  I spend hours listening to new music just by exploring the related artists bit.

Or enable Last.FM reporting.  That should provide you with new stuff.

If you like muse, some of these might be a bit too manly for you.

played king of limbs again and i have to say it came over far better when i listened to it the second time.

but im back on korn on spotify again.
do you have to have paid for spotify to get the similar artists bit?

Not sure.  I've got a subscription account.
I'll pull off a similar artists for Korn.
