I can recreate it on my box as well. Under Linux, certain comic strips whose images arent hosted on the same server as the newspaper, dont show up.

isn;t this part of the allowing 3rd parties to set cookies?  IIRC my Suse install is a _lot_ more restrictive than the windows box and often blocks images from other sites.

It seems to be a firewall issue, not OS or FF. Sorted.
