While since I did it but basically tell your computer AI mate to stand still at the bottom of the train and use him as a diversion.

Then whenever the nub is attacking him with the bats crossbow him or better yet snipe him in the head.  Just run round in circles staying in the light and sniping him and hes a dead man.  Hard as f**k but if you cba to do it hes a geadman.  Basically ignore the gun turret and do it old school.

He is a twat tho.

think he got stuck when i tried it, if you stay in the light until hes got his krill back then your safe, then i just ran up to the gun and started laying into him, soon as he sent his krill at me, he was cut down in  a second!

I killed him on co-op, it feels dirty though tbh.

A fiend asked if I wanted a hand, I said yes...
He joined, I tooled up (TB and LS) and he kept the lancer...

The mistake I was making was running away too early. In co-op we hid behind the first barrier and as RAAM approached I asked my m8 when we should run. His reply was "when RAAM comes around the barrier". At this point I knew that I had been fleeing far too early and that was why I was dying !

Bloody RAAM !!

I managed to do it on my own, I was hoping someone would show up to help me because I was having a right old time trying to get from the rear of the house to the APC.  The stomper kept taking it out before I could get there or I would get a grenade to the back of my head.

I totally enjoyed playing it through on Insane, I think its the first game ever (in 15+ years) of gaming that I have played through twice
