I watched star wars for the first time last week. a new hope it was called, the first one i think. I watched the second one today, empire strikes back.

they are pretty damn good, should have watched them earlier.

My stepdad watched them for the first time only a few years ago.

How can anyone not have seen star wars?

Id never really watched them properly until maybe 5/6 years back, I think they are good films but still couldnt get caught up in all the fanboy buzz.

I watched the first three (episodes 4-6), which were reasonable. Unfortunately they then produced three stinkers.

Star Trek has equal problems IMO.
