Steam 'Big Picture' Mode

Its live and looking pretty good.

Designed with the controller in mind for control on a big screen they have done well, even the web browsing and text input looks pretty good :)

i read last week that Valve are looking for hardware designers

Gabe has come out on twice to deny that they are doing any kind of 'steambox' and I do believe them. Doesn't mean 3rd parties won't make a 'living room PC' and sell it aimed at gamers using steam as the UI.

They will do exactly what google does with the Nexus stuff. Find good hardware made by others, endorse it, work with them to make it work well with their vision and release it as a valve hardware product but it will actually be 3rd parties.
