Hmm, try some different RAM? Certain games tax systems differently so problems might not sure up until a certain program is run.

Just got my wife to send me send speedfan settings.

From cold, first Boot Temps are:
Temp 1 32 C
Temp 2 27 C
HD0 19C
HD1 21C

I know the room ambient is about 20/22c.

Ive replaced the motherboard becuase thats what I thought it was, sadly the problem is still with me, its also new memory (upgraded from PC2700 at christmas). By elimination Im almost certain its a CPU problem.

Im still seriously looking for a new CPU HSFAN - Volcano7 looks interesting but balancing noise against performance is always the issue.

Next move is a fing huge deskfan blowing into the open case tonight while I single handedly invade northern Europe in CoH. !!!
